you are kindly invited to attend the lectures given by Professor David Hui, University of New Orleans,
starting from Wednesday 4th of July and time 1800 in the evening,
at the Civil Engineering Department, Democritus University of Thrace, Xanthi, Greece Amphitheatre A2 (in Kimmeria).
He will discuss the following topics:
Composites under Harsh Environments: Civil Engineering and Aerospace Engineering perspectives
Nano-Engineered Mechanics: Why Nano?
How To Write Papers To Enhance Journal Acceptance?
within the framework of his erasmus+ visit (4/7-11/7).
Professor David Hui would be glad to discuss with interested Faculty Members and undergraduate and postgraduate students since he has established a wide international network of collaborators aiming at leveraging multidisciplinary high quality research in different fields of composites (impact or blast, vibration, buckling, texile natural fibers etc), nanomechanics, strengthening of concrete members etc. He would also like to share his experience as editor or member of editorial boards in numerous journals, in better writing of papers and proposals.
He is editor-in-chief of the international journal Composites part B: Engineering, Elsevier. CiteScore: 5.41 Impact Factor: 4.920 5-Year Impact Factor: 4.858
